Bugger! What have I volunteered for now? There I was, thinking of ways to stretch the pension money and found Skype on the internet. Great. I need to call overseas on occasions and this is for free...provided the person at the other end has a computer connected to the internet. So I sent an invitation to almost everyone in my address book including the Jake Project team. First one back was Dave Harris, then tonight Dave McGovern. We talked about the JockFest and how things had gone a little flat since then. I said that I would like to MC the next Jakefest and he said why not....in Cambridge, and I said Easter 2006, so I am lumbered.
Well, thinking about it there are a couple of people here in Cambridge who haven't performed at a Jakefest, so why not? I need a volunteer to look after the Baggsy List.
I want to show Jake to this generation through his songs. That is how I see Jake. He is his songs. See you at Easter 2006.
