Hello all.
My name is Peter Craig (as you may have already guessed from my user name) and after just discovering this site I thought I'd introduce myself.
I have been aware of Jake Thackray since a very early age as my late father was a big fan and took every opportunity to play me Jake's brilliant words and music.
As a rebellious teenager I resisted all things parent related and it is only, ironically, since my father died (I played Last Will and Testament at his funeral) that I am rediscovering Jake Thachray.
I have always had favourites the number 1 being the Lodger and without doubt my favourite album is the Jake Thackray live a album. Unfortunately one of my young sons sat on it a few years ago so I no longer have a copy. I have been searching for a copy ever since.
Musically my favourite band are The Wedding Present who I have been following for over 20 years and have seen live over 30 times in the last 18 months 
I'm 47 (next Friday), married (but seperated: ) with two sons and live in London, although I am a Lancastrian at heart having been brought up and educated in Chorley, Lancs.
I saw Jake live once about 15 years ago (I think) at a leisure centre in Hounslow.
Anyway, that's me. Hello.
