Is it really a flat rate of £1000/min?- I mean how can a high quality BBC production like say Dr Who be as much as a half hour local news program from years ago? If so, surely they will restructure the costs at some point in the future (probably when all the good stuff has been sold and there's no more money coming in). I agree, there's no point in angering auntie. From my limited perspective I reckon the archive probably costs a lot to run.. so give it time. In the meantime - I'm off to learn Isabelle and Monuments!
