A shameless, cross-posted, off-topic plug. - 2004/11/03 11:10 There are times - magical times - when an acoustic artist achieves a performance which transcends mere artistry, and passes into legend.

Eric Clapton - unplugged - 1992
Ravi Shankar - Woodstock - 1969
Freddie Mercury - Live Aid - 1985

However, on Friday 12th November, YOU can experience something completely different instead.

Come and see the small but perfectly formed

Malcolm Jeffrey

Live, and for an unprecedented third time, at the prestigious

Woodman Folk Club
Mount Pleasant
Kingswinford

He runs a lot.
He can do the Rubik’s Cube.
He is not keen on broccoli.
Sometimes his songs are a bit funny.

Oh, and currently I intend to be doing “Jumble Sale”, “The Cenotaph”, “The Kiss”, “The Hair of the Widow of Bridlington”, “To Do With You”, “The Lodger” and “Romance”, which surprisingly lurches the whole shameless plug-fest back on topic again !

Re:A shameless, cross-posted, off-topic plug. - 2004/11/13 09:12 He socked it to us! Great night, lots of songs, good audience - they laughed in all the right places! Five of us were there, and we had a great time. Malcy did all the songs he promised, and didn't forget a single word or phrase! Guitar sounded good too. He gave us Flanders and Swann, Tom Lehrer and Grant Baynham too, and got lots of encores! The support artists (!) were great too!

Thanks Malcy!
