 BBC4 Doc. - 2006/10/06 22:52 just saw the doc on BBC4; have to admit ive never heard of the guy before, being up myself in indie as i am, but i absolutely loved it. Reminded me of a cross between John Cooper Clarke and Ray Davies. Loved the songs, loved the stories. Good guitarist too.

John Cooper Clarke, yes! Also made me think of Leon Rosselson a little, in style of lyrics and delivery.

as yet The Remembrance isn't on any available cd. It was out on vinyl on an album called Jake Thackray and Songs which can often be found on eBay or Netsounds.

We'd like to remedy this if we can
