 Nothingness - 2007/08/13 21:04 OK! OK! I can't stand this silence any longer.IT WAS ME! I bought the 4 disk Jake in a box set off e-bay but there'll be others I'm sure. There's no need for this silent treatment.

So which ones of the new, unreleased songs are your favourites, if any ? Mine are My Pipe, My Boots And My Lord and Freda, which I learned straight away when I heard them. However, some of the other players normally here have found different new ones have joined their favourites. Eranu !

 Re:Nothingness - 2007/08/14 22:05 I haven't listened to it enough yet. The trouble is, I have my favourites that I know well from the bbc4 doc and utube and what have you so when I come to a song I've not heard before I tend to skip to one that I know so I'm not getting to know any new ones.
I think I prefer the fourth disc as the songs are mostly familiar to me but are different versions and Jakes voice is very loud and clear.
When I get more time or a long car journey I'll listen to the discs right through.

 Re:Nothingness - 2007/08/15 10:53 You're certainly in for a treat then with all the new (i.e.unreleased) stuff on disc two. For me, it was like having a new Jake album come out and there's a lot to find enjoyment about in there.
