I made the point a few days ago (25/1/05) that it would be nice if others introduced themselves. Quietness ensued.

Then I made up a word....

It's the way of the world that the huge majority of people are lurkers rather than posters. It was the fresh lurkers' surprise I was musing on.

Good point well made. There are about 100 more people registered than when i joined a month ago, and thousands more visitors "and still rising". The only helpful advice they'll get from this thread is not to overdose on lemsip.

Re:New member? - 2005/01/27 21:18 As one who has been to all but one of the Project gatherings I have the luxury of knowing most of the the regular posters on this site. As I write I notice that there are now nearly 600 members on this site but few actually post.

Of those we have met as a family I can say that there is not a bad one amongst them and we have had some very memorable evenings in the company of those who but for our love of Jake we have nothing in common with.

I welcome Keiwits rather different slant on life and hope to get a chance to meet some of those who lurk at the next big do. I am unable to attend the Knutsford do which is a shame as I am certain that It will be a blast.

p.s. what has happened to the picture section?
