Just to show what a world wide influence the great man has... I am currently living in Melbourne and was fortunate enough to attend the annual Port Fairy Folk Festival in Victoria, Australia last weekend. Whilst listening to a great concert of several jug bands,to my huge delight one of them did a romping stomping version of Castleford Ladies Magic Circle. Or at least nearly. I am sure I heard the lyrics: 'Castlemaine Ladies Magic Circle' in there. Oh dear  So pleased was I to hear Jake's music being broadcast in the far away country that I forgave them this sheep shearers adaptation.
