It's pretentious cyberspeak for permanently interesting.

Amen to that. This is definitely the most interesting discussion I've had today. That said, I'm so dosed up on Lemsip max-strength the only other conversation I've had today was with an imaginary fig tree named Rupert and he seemed strangely subdued for this time of year.

Wot'sat mean?

Sorry to spoil the mood of this thread but . . .

Normally the topic with the latest post appears at the top of the list of Topics in each Forum, with the rest in descending order of currency, so less-popular threads fall down the list. Making a topic "sticky" (only admins can do this) gives it a map-pin icon and means the topic will always stay at the top of the list, regardless of later contributions to non-sticky topics.

Lucky sod, I only get the Y-chromosomed fig trees.

Not wanting to make a serious point, but I'm sure this thread would be a whole lot stickier if some of the other new members introduced themselves. Got to be better than listening to my ramblings, I do talk a lot of rubbish when I'm sober.

I wish everyone a pleasant weekend, and extend the ancient greeting: May your fruitbowl and your family be always full of nuts.

Re:New member? - 2005/01/21 21:45 You always hear about the child prodigies who've had their talents nurtured since they were 8 years old. Whether it’s golf, guitar, fishing or juggling. Anything. When I was 8 years old my parents noticed my prodigious talent for eating crisps.

Anyway, enough of my woes. I can't really complain, I work in local government so to be mediocre is something of a blessing. To be borderline insane means you are promotion material.

Hold on,

Is the above not a description of our own Aliasmcalias?

Sorry about that Ian, I just couldn't stop myself.
