I'm not certain which element of that list put you in mind of me (mediocre or borderline insane?) but I suppose I ought to say that I work in central government rather than local: it's your call whether the general principle still holds. It seems to me that the two categories are not mutually exclusive though.

I thought you worked for a well known motoring association anyway?

Re:New member? - 2005/01/22 14:02 I wasn't having a go at you Ian and hope that no offence was taken, if it was I can only apologise and would like to say that I do not consider you to be mediocre in any way. 'Twas the borderline insanity bit that I was thinking of and speaking for myself I am way beyond borderline. Rather unwisely I have been chosen for promotion so the description does seem to fit me rather well.

To be borderline insane means you are promotion material.

If we're compiling a list of the borderline insane, count me in - I wanna be one of that number!
..........

Although it has to be said that at my time of life there can't be many opportunities remaining for promotion ..... except for the final translation, that is, but that could easily go the other way......

There's always my rating as a poster in this forum of course - I think I still head the list for number of posts, if not for their rationality. I'm hoping to hit the platinum level eventually!

Re:New member? - 2005/01/24 08:39 Good morning to all,

It's good to hear so many of you are blissful in your borderline insanity. Personally I find my madness makes me rather unpopular, even the voices in my head aren't talking to me.

The main problem I find with being crazy is that no one believes a word you say. And for me, that word happens to be "pidsblufgo". Well, do you believe it? I think not.

The only difference I am aware of between Central Government and Local Government is in the spelling. It's true, no one in Central Government can spell. And why is it that Homer Simpson blames the Department of Health for everything?

It would appear to me that you will fit in very nicely here Keiwit. Just how do you pronounce pidsblufgo? are the d and the b silent?
